| PhantaSystem are Jônatas Protes (music) and Cris Rissatto (visuals).
Jônatas Protes is a 25 year old german literature student who started doing electronic music in 2007 influenced mostly by IDM sounds (Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Crisopa, Ghostly International and n5MD are in his list of influences), and the rhythms of his environment, in Araraquara (São Paulo), Brazil.
He mainly uses laptop and virtual soft to make his music, defined by himself as fusing ambient music, shoegazer textures, vaporous melodies and complex – sometimes almost chaotic – drum patterns.
Cris Rissatto is an autodidact media artist in charge of the visual work (in live sets, images of the cover)
and they work both sides close, music and images.
"Layers Of Silence" is his official debut at Imaginary Nonexistent Records
